The fixed price covers everything: project management, senior engineers, React front-end, Laravel or Node.js back-end, PostgreSQL database, CI/CD pipeline setup, cloud infrastructure, code repository, and documentation. There are no hidden fees, no per-hour billing, and no surprise line items. If the spec changes, we discuss scope adjustments before any change in price.
If Sprint 1 is not on time, we finish the remaining work at no cost. The scope guarantee means you never pay extra for timeline overruns. In practice, we deliver on time 92% of the time. When delays happen, it's usually because a client added scope mid-build — and even then, the guarantee protects you. You get the finished product you paid for, on the original budget.
You own everything. Source code is 100% yours. We deliver it in a private GitHub repository under your account. There are no licensing fees, no recurring royalties, and no ongoing dependency on us to maintain or modify the code. You can take it to any developer, any agency, or any internal team after delivery — it's your product.
Sprint Zero is a paid discovery phase at $2,500. We produce a complete technical specification, architecture diagram, database schema, API contract, and a detailed sprint plan. The deliverable is production-ready — your engineering team (or any agency) can build from it. If the spec doesn't give you a clear path to build, we refund the full amount. No questions asked.
Our default stack is React (front-end), Laravel or Node.js (back-end), and PostgreSQL (database). We deploy on AWS or the provider of your choice with CI/CD pipelines pre-configured. For AI/ML features, we integrate OpenAI, Anthropic, or self-hosted models. For mobile, we recommend React Native as a companion to the web app. We choose the stack based on your team's future maintenance capacity, not what's trendy.
Yes. Visit our case studies page for detailed breakdowns of past builds, including architecture decisions, timeline data, and business outcomes. We publish case studies for every project where the client is comfortable sharing.
Scope changes happen. We handle them transparently: if a change fits within the current sprint capacity, we absorb it. If it requires additional effort, we discuss the impact on timeline and price before proceeding. The fixed-price model doesn't mean rigid scope — it means predictable cost. You get line-of-sight on every decision that affects price.
Yes. We offer post-launch maintenance and feature development through the same fixed-price model. Typical engagements are quarterly or bi-annual sprint blocks. Many clients start with an MVP build and continue with us for the next 6 to 18 months of iteration. There is no obligation to use us for maintenance — the code is yours, always.
We set up cloud infrastructure (AWS or your preferred provider) with CI/CD pipelines, database backups, monitoring, and staging environments. Infrastructure is documented and transferable. We do not lock you into proprietary hosting. The monthly cloud cost during development is included in the fixed price, so there are no surprises.
A typical 8-week MVP includes 3 to 5 core features, authentication, a database schema supporting 1 to 2 user roles, a responsive web interface, API contracts, and deployment infrastructure. Examples include a marketplace MVP with listing and search and checkout, a SaaS dashboard with subscription management and reporting, or a data processing platform with ingestion pipelines and visualizations. We scope each build to fit the 8-week window. If your idea needs more, we recommend Sprint Zero first.
Jake reviews every inquiry personally. If you're not sure whether your project fits the MVP model, send a message — you'll get an honest answer within 24 hours.
